Goal: First CRM, built to actually get used
A small services business with around 18 staff was running sales out of spreadsheets and memory. Leads slipped through the cracks, handoffs were messy, and nobody could say what was in the pipeline without asking around.
The goal was to implement a first real CRM on a tight budget that the team would actually use, without the bloat of a system built for companies ten times their size.
Action: Import, configure, keep it simple
We kept the build deliberately lean, since an SMB doesn’t need enterprise complexity it’ll never touch. We set up a simple pipeline that matched how they already sold, imported their existing contacts, and configured only the fields they’d realistically fill in.
Training was two short sessions.
Result: Full pipeline visibility within weeks
Within weeks the whole team was logging deals in one place, and the owner had a clear view of the pipeline for the first time. Leads stopped slipping, handoffs got cleaner, and the business ran with a lot less chasing around.
